Anthony Emmanuel BECHU, Director

A graduate of the Ecole des Beaux-Arts, Anthony Béchu enrolled in the Ecole de Chaillot‘s historical preservation program, and received a master’s degree from the UCMA. He later completed a dissertation on Yemen Architecture. As a professional practitioner, his work includes the headquarters for Balzac Saint-Honoré, the Journal “l'Indépendant”, along with the Olympia and Edouard VII neighborhood and other projects in Vietnam, China and Turkey. He regularly teaches architecture courses at the Ecole Supérieure des Travaux Public.

Tom SHEEHAN

Tom Sheehan is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Ohio. Former First Prize of the Ecoles d'Art Americanes of Fontainebleau 1985. He is a resident of Paris since 1989 where he runs a private architectural practice since 1997. Awarded the silver medal from the French Académie of Architecture in 1997 for his role as project manager of the Stade de France, he is also professor of Architecture at the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris.

Pablo LORENZINO

Born in Argentina in 1962, Pablo Lorenzino is a talented architect. He has worked with Jean Gino Valle, Jean Paul Viguier, Jean François Jodry Professor in the University of Buenos Aires between 1991 and 1995 (Architectural Design 4th and 6th year school), he is now working in France in the office of Anthony Bechu, and has been an Assistant Professor at ESTP University (Paris State Engineering School). He has been teaching at Fontainebleau since 2004.

Anne SCHEOU

Anne Scheou is an architect who received her French degree from the Ecole d’Architecture de Nancy and a Master from the Harvard Graduate School of Design where she studied under a Fulbright scholarship. After her graduation she moved to Tokyo to collaborate with Itsuko Hasegawa for 3 years before becoming a project manager for Shigeru Ban during 7 years. She worked on the design and development of several cultural equipments and housing projects in Japan and in France, notably the Centre Pompidou in Metz. While in Tokyo she taught architecture workshops for 8 years and 3rd year design studios at Meiji University until 2004. She now practices in Paris, teaches at the Ecole Nationale Superieure d’Architecture de Paris-La Villette and at the Ecole Spéciale d’Architecture.

Antonio FRAUSTO

Born in Mexico, Antonio Frausto followed a family tradition in studying both architecture and fine arts. He graduated from Mexico National University and has developed both activities through various art exhibitions and architectural projects. In 2003, he joined Arte Charpentier in Paris to contribute to international competitions.He has been teaching at Mexico University, and is presently visiting teacher at Paris-Belleville Architecture School. He is also leading “Arte Dialogue”, an exchange media between architecs and visual arts.

Phillipe NIEZ

Philippe Niez is a graduate of the Saint Cyran Horticultural School. During his studies he met with renowned landscape architect, Gilles Clement and became soon one of his closest collaborators. After more than fifteen years of collaboration, notably on the Parc Citroen in Paris, Philippe opened a personal practice in 1995. His commissions are public as well as private.

David LECLERC

David Leclerc is a practicing licensed architect in France. He received a Lounsbery scholarship from the French Academy of Architecture to pursue graduate studies in the US. He holds a Master of Architecture from SCI-Arc (Los Angeles) and has been the recipient of a "Villa Médicis Hors les Murs" research grant to study the work of R. Schindler. He has written and lectured extensively on American Architecture. He has taught design studios at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Since 2002, he is a professor at the Ecole d’Architecture de Versailles and runs a private architectural practice in Paris.

Jean-Guy LECAT

Jean-Guy Lecat has been theatre and set designer for over 35 years; he has taken part in the design, transformation, and creation of more than 200 theatres around the world. As a design consultant, he has worked with many architects, including Frank Gehry, on projects in France, Portugal, Norway, The United States, England, and Italy. As a set designer, he also has an international reputation, having designed sets for productions all over Europe. In addition, Jean-Guy runs international theatre-design workshops which draw directors, architects, set-designers, and students.

Daniel VANICHE

Daniel Vaniche is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique. He also graduated from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and the Ecole of Architecture Paris-Belleville.
He has been working for eight years with Marc Mimram and especially been the project manager of many significant European projects, including the Solférino Bridge in Paris (between the Louvre and Orsay museums).
His works as engineer and designer have most of the time been a partnership with major architects over Europe, Africa and also Asia. He is professor of Architecture at the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris.

Margaret GRAY

Margaret Gray is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Ohio and of the Atelier national de Recherche typographique (Paris). She is a professor of applied typography at the Ecole Estienne in Paris since 1994. Her work is centered around the use of writing within an architectural context, as a vehicule of information, or an element of architectural identity.

Mireille RODDIER

Mireille Roddier holds an M. Arch from the University of California Berkeley and has practiced and built in the Bay Area. She received the William B Sanders fellowship from the University of Michigan where she became an assistant professor. Winner of the Gabriel Prize 2000, her drawings, watercolors and renderings have been included in numerous architectural publications and exhibits.
